A young superstar from Mirren Park School completed his first 5K at Victoria Park.

Head Teacher Tony ran alongside him and was so proud of him for completing the race. The event was very busy and the young man managed his anxiety so well to keep going and reach the finish line. He said that he really enjoyed the event, especially how friendly and encouraging everyone was.

He is keen to go again and said he will try to recruit a few of the other pupils next time as he is sure that they will love it once they give it a try.
