Creativity, Connection, and a Touch of Origami

Over the past couple of days, I had the pleasure of spending some creative time making origami animals with two of the wonderful individuals we support here at Acrefield House. Together, we crafted a dog and a butterfly, simple designs, but full of charm and personality.

Both participants did an incredible job, showing patience, focus, and creativity throughout the activity. Their finished pieces now have pride of place right next to my computer, a lovely daily reminder of the joy that comes from shared moments and meaningful engagement.

It’s often these small experiences that reflect the biggest values: connection, collaboration, and care.
