Salary: £53,000 – £61,000 per annum (DOE)

Requirements: SVQ 4 in Working with Young People/Management or a preparedness to work toward same. Significant experience at senior level in a Children’s Home

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

The Registered Manager

We are looking for an exceptional Registered Manager to lead and develop the service delivering consistent and outstanding levels of quality. The Registered Manager will develop and implement a vision for the delivery of a high quality, clinically informed service at The Red House and ensure that standards are maintained within the regulatory framework set by The Care Inspectorate. The service is rated as “Very Good” in all areas and enjoys high levels of occupancy.

The Registered Manager will be responsible for the overall efficiency and quality of care delivery including the management of an experienced and skilled staff team and promotion of the work undertaken at The Red House, externally through the maintenance of key stakeholder relationships with external agencies. The Registered Manager will be accountable directly to the Regional Senior Manager and will work closely with the rest of the Young Foundations operational management team to develop a culture of practice excellence.

The Red House

The Red House provides a high level of service provision based on the principles of the National Care Standards and encompassing the key outcomes of GIRFEC, National Practice Model and Curriculum for Excellence.

Located in Johnstone, The Red House accommodates up to 6 young people from ages 12 to 19. We support those with acute mental health difficulties and complex needs. We offer an excellent relationship-based service to children and young people and provide a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.
