At Oaklea Grange, we believe that every moment can be an opportunity for growth, joy, and connection, and our first Annual Pet Awards was a perfect example!

One of our young people had a brilliant idea: to recognise the hard work and personalities of the beloved pets of Oaklea. With enthusiasm and care, they helped organise an afternoon full of laughter, celebration, and treats, for both humans and animals alike!

Meet our award-winning team:
• 🐹 Garfield the Hamster – proudly received the Certificate of Destruction for his relentless (and adorable) missions of chaos. “You’re strong and determined in your missions!”
• 🐰 Reggie & Leilo the Rabbits – always bringing calm and comfort.
• 🐹 Becky the Guinea Pig – named after the registered manager and crowned Employee of the Year!
• 🐹 Chrissy the Guinea Pig – also named in honour of our leadership team.

Trophies and certificates were awarded by Niall; CEO of Young Foundations and the pets were showered with gifts and treats. It was a joyful afternoon that brought everyone together and gave our young people a chance to lead, celebrate, and express appreciation in a meaningful way.
