Mowbray House

For young adults aged 18+

Thank you to all staff who have supported D through transition and how I wish he could take his team with him to next placement.

Social Worker

  • Mowbray House is a spacious detached property located in the heart of the market town of Crook. It caters for young adults 18 years of age onwards, who have a diagnosis of Autism, complex needs and communication difficulties.

Mowbray House offers spacious accommodation in a warm and inviting environment. The ground floor is home to a lounge, sitting room, utility room, kitchen, dining room and en suite bedroom.

Upstairs there are four bedrooms, a bathroom and a wet room. There is an activity centre with sensory room and a sensory garden.

At Mowbray House, we support, develop and empower the young people to enjoy their early adulthood, reach their full potential and achieve a positive sense of self-worth.

  • Our vision for people with autism is based on the principle that every individual has a positive contribution to make to society, to be a part of their community, and the right to control their own lives and have a real voice in the support they require to live a fulfilling and meaningful life.
