Stafford Hall School provides high levels of care by an experienced and knowledgeable staff team who are specifically trained to work with young people who present behavioural difficulties.
Providing meaningful learning experiences, fostering an active lifestyle and building greater awareness of the world we live in are key principles at Stafford Hall School.
We work in partnership with children and young people, families and all relevant professionals to ensure that positive outcomes are achieved for each individual.
We aim to provide an environment, which promotes the feelings of safety and stability and which will allow young people the opportunity to reflect on and reappraise their life events.
The residential accommodation at Stafford Hall has the feel of a well-decorated and maintained family home, whilst having all the facilities to support children and young people with all of their additional needs.
At Stafford Hall we are proud of our attention to detail and our true focus on individual needs.
During my time at Stafford Hall I have realised that it is not just the education of the young people which is important, the education of the staff also important. Training might be in-house, via video calls or accessed through online training links. There are regular opportunities to obtain qualifications such as the NCFE level 2 certificates, many of which are directly related to the work we do to support our young people. There are also fantastic opportunities to study for a foundation degree in Therapeutic Childcare, which is sponsored by Young Foundations. Each training opportunity allows us to develop our own knowledge of how to support and care for young people to the best of our abilities and helps us improve what we know.
